Awards and general ranks for state border service officers
By order of the head of state, the military rank of "Major General" has been conferred upon three colonels of the State Border Service: Bahman Babayev, Eyub Mammadov, and Nasib Mirzoyev.
In a separate decree, the president awarded a large group of officers and enlisted border guards with orders and medals for exemplary service in border protection.
